At Greater Bible Way Temple, we are a community minded church. We
believe that as a ministry, we haven’t effectively done so until we have ministered outside of the four walls of the church. With this attitude,
we have become heavily involved in the communities of Bay City,
Saginaw, and Mt. Pleasant. We have members who regularly volunteer at
area soups kitchens, homeless shelters, and nursing homes. Additionally,
Pastor Johnson sits on the board of directors for the Bay County
Habitat for Humanity, a distinction he was appointed to in the fall of
2010.
Not only are we reaching the community through these conventional means,
but we are partnering with local agencies to assist in reaching the
less fortunate. Chief among those agencies is one founded by our own
Eld. Phillip N Johnson – Greater Works Community Development Corp.
